Bhavesh Asanabada.
I’m a software engineer and entrepreneur connecting enterprise technology, applied artificial intelligence, and doctoral study in business administration.

From enterprise systems to emerging ideas.
I bring more than five years of experience in distributed systems, cloud-native applications, and AI-powered tools. My work as a Senior Software Engineer at American Express focuses on services that support customer onboarding and banking experiences.
My professional background spans retail technology at Walmart, financial systems at State Street, and open-source scientific computing. Through Google Summer of Code with the Apache Software Foundation, I contributed to infrastructure for running and understanding complex computational workflows. Across these environments, my work has focused on system reliability, automation, and the practical demands of software used by businesses and researchers.
Alongside my engineering career, I’m pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at Westcliff University, concentrating on Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and AI. I hold a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Missouri. My research interests include agentic AI, intelligent systems, and the ways technical advances can create business value.
Entrepreneurship extends that focus from implementation to product direction. My interests include identifying customer needs, testing early ideas, and evaluating how technology can address practical problems. I welcome collaboration with founders, engineers, and researchers working to bring new products and applied research into use.
